Blacking out my 2023 Santa Fe grille who’s done it?

I'm thinking about giving the grille on my 2023 Santa Fe a sleek black paint job. I've come across some awesome photos and I'm totally digging the style.

Has anyone here done something similar? Did you go for spray paint, a wrap, or maybe Plasti Dip? I'd love to hear your experiences, any tips you picked up. I'd really appreciate any advice before I take the plunge

That sounds like a great upgrade! if you want something reversible Plasti Dip is the wy to go, while spray paint gives a more permanent look. A wrap could work too!, less mess!

Want to give your 2023 Santa Fe a new vibe? Blacking out the grille is a cool move. Plasti Dip is a popular choice because it's easy to put on and take off if you don't like it.

Keep the grille clean and dry. Prep with alcohol. Put on a few light layers, letting each one dry. For extra shine, some throw on a gloss coat.

I used Plasti Dip on mine last fall and it came out pretty clean. I took it slow and patiently with light coats. Thankfully it held up through winter without peeling. I think all you need is a little patience.
