I visited a Hyundai dealer in downtown Melbourne to test drive a Santa Fe. The Monroney sticker was altered, crammed with fake add-ons and a $7,000 market adjustment, nearly $10K over MSRP. I skipped that deal, thanked the salesman, then went to another local dealer and bought my Santa Fe there. Would you have done the same?

they were busted lol. you know, a market adjustment is just a fancy term for a pure profit grab, especially when they're faking add ons on top of it.
You were looking at paying an extra $7,000 for a car they would have been happy to sell at MSRP. Your action of walking away and buying elsewhere is the only way to hold these dealers accountable and show that these shady practices won't fly with smart customers
