The hybrid battery is toast

I've been chasing this problem for a while, trying to get the dealer to confirm my suspicions that the hybrid battery is bad and a few weeks ago I finally got the confirmation. The capacity was below 50% which is terrible, simply terrible. The replacement should go under the warranty, that much I'm sure of, but I'm a bit concerned about people claiming that their case managers are slow or unresponcive. Should I expect something like and show my teeth or let them do their thing? I have 0 experience with a car under warranty, so I have no idea how things work

Well if it is under warranty, you can start the process but stay on them with follow-up calls or emails. Just be politely persistent... it can get you far I swear :) It gets things moving faster than waiting quietly.

If it's confirmed under warranty, stay polite but don't let them drag it out. Completely agree with @steak and wine. You have to do a couple of firm BUT FULLY RESPECTFUL follow-ups to make a big difference.

Warranties sound reassuring, until you actually need to use them..:)
Case managers often drag their feet, so don't wait politely, be firm and document everything, also follow up weekly

Warranty claims can definitely drag sometimes, so being polite but firm helps and remember to keep all your documentation organized and don't hesitate to follow up regularly.
